Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ-licensed trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
- Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- 24 age/ 2 years verifiable A-Z Driving Experience
- Clean CVOR/ Abstract Record
- One photo ID other than a license (Passport/ Citizenship card/ PR/ Work Visa), PCC if available
- Must know about ELD.
