We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy restaurant environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Oversee restaurant management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Lead team management efforts by conducting interviews, onboarding new staff, and fostering a positive work environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and industry standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong leadership abilities with previous supervising or restaurant management experience
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster collaboration
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Effective communication skills for interviewing, training, and customer interactions
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and restaurant experience is essential
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with a focus on hospitality excellence and operational efficiency
