The Opportunity
The Sleep Coach provides compassionate, client-centred care to individuals experiencing sleep-related concerns by conducting assessments, delivering education, and supporting evidence-based treatment plans such as CPAP therapy and CBT-I. Working collaboratively with physicians and internal teams, this role ensures high-quality care delivery, strong client adherence, and optimal sleep health outcomes while maintaining clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Clinical Support

Deliver exceptional, empathetic, client-focused care to support optimal sleep health outcomes.

Conduct client appointments, provide sleep health education, and recommend appropriate therapies or equipment (e.g., CPAP, CBT-I, other clinically supported treatments).

Monitor and support client adherence and long-term therapy success.

Provide ongoing follow-up care, including screening, monitoring, and support for sleep-related respiratory concerns.

Educate clients to build confidence, independence, and improved quality of life.

Prioritize and manage a time-sensitive caseload with strong problem-solving skills.
Clinical Collaboration & Care Coordination

Review clinical data and collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust individualized sleep therapy plans.

Identify clinical or therapy discrepancies and communicate effectively with physicians to support coordinated care.

Coordinate care with physicians, insurers, government programs, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Provide timely and clear updates to referral sources and physicians.
Operational Support & Documentation

Ensure timely, accurate EMR documentation, treatment plans, charting, and record-keeping in compliance with privacy legislation.

Maintain efficient scheduling, client flow, and clinic operations, including basic front-office support as required.

Ensure clinic equipment is properly maintained and operational, following IPAC and infection prevention standards.

Accurately prepare and submit funding documentation and assist clients with insurance or government program navigation.

Participate in team meetings, training, and onboarding support for new staff.

Qualifications
-
Client-centered approach aligned with Nuvista Sleep Solutions’ values.

Registered RRT, RPSGT, CPSGT, RN, or RPN/LPN in good standing.

Active registration with applicable provincial regulatory body and required professional liability insurance.

Strong understanding of sleep health, including its impact on overall health and common comorbidities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
-
Strong time management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.

Experience with CPAP therapy, client education, or healthcare-related sales is an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMRs, and virtual care platforms.

Completion of required Health & Safety and WHMIS training.

Additional languages and experience with virtual care are considered assets.
