As our next Automation Project Specialist (Robotics/PLC Service), you’ll be at the forefront of programming, commissioning, and supporting advanced automation systems. Your expertise in robotics, PLC programming, and industrial automation will be crucial in delivering high‑performance manufacturing equipment and ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites.

- Program, debug, and commission PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and motion systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize robotic cells, including vision and force monitoring systems
- Support design, build, and startup of automation equipment and assembly lines
- Modify existing production equipment and develop new automation solutions
- Configure industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, etc.)
- Develop or modify LabVIEW-based programs for automation systems
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams during design and implementation
- Support equipment commissioning at customer sites and provide technical support
- Prepare technical documentation including manuals, setup procedures, and schematics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
- Technical diploma or degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in an automation or controls environment
- Expert knowledge of PLC programming (Omron NJ, Allen Bradley)
- Experience with robot programming (Fanuc, Yaskawa, KUKA)
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with industrial controls, automation systems, and troubleshooting
- Experience with LabVIEW programming and applications
- Knowledge of SQL databases and related systems
- Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., EPLAN)
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 environments
