Job Summary: East York Tennis Club is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our team for the tennis season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the courts are prepared and playable for members each morning, while also assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the clubhouse and facility grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dry and prepare tennis courts for member play
- Clear debris and ensure courts are safe and playable
- Monitor court conditions during and after poor weather
- Perform general clubhouse maintenance and upkeep
- Assist with painting, cleaning, and miscellaneous repairs and tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of club grounds
- Support daily operational and facility needs as required
- Ensure outdoor areas remain organized and presentable
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in facility maintenance, cleaning, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
Wages & Schedule:
- .Pay: $17.63 - $18.50
