Are you the person friends, family, customers, or neighbours call when they have questions about livestock, feed, or animal care? We’re looking for a Feed Sales Lead who understands livestock and enjoys helping producers find the right solutions for their operation. Whether your experience comes from farming, ranching, 4‑H, breeding, showing, or years of hands‑on work with cattle, horses, poultry, sheep, goats, or other livestock, you’re someone others trust for advice and answers.
As a Feed Sales Lead, you’ll build strong relationships with producers, answer feed and livestock inquiries, support and train team members, help grow our feed business and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Sales and leadership experience are assets, but we’re most interested in someone with livestock knowledge, strong people skills, initiative, and a desire to help customers succeed. Experience with animal health, feed programs, or livestock handling is considered an asset.
What you’ll do: You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
- Developing specialized product content in Feed, Ag Equipment, Animal Health, Lube, and Fencing, and delivering training to Agro staff
- Providing leadership through supervision, coaching, and ensuring staff compliance with loss prevention and asset protection policies
- Leading the full B2B sales cycle, including customer outreach, stock and delivery coordination, documentation, and issue resolution
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with producers, suppliers, and sales reps to support sales growth and profitability
- Supporting talent acquisition and onboarding in collaboration with the Agro Manager, Hardware Supervisor, and Sales Leads
- Assisting with budgeting, pricing, discounts, and margin management
Maintaining strong product knowledge across all Agro categories, with a focus on feed and livestock needs

Who you are: You are interested in a career in sales & customer service and:
- You have hands‑on livestock knowledge and enjoy helping producers find the right solutions
- You have a High School diploma
- You hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- You can maintain and grow an extensive customer contact program
- Experience with feed programs, animal health, or livestock handling is considered an asset
- Training in Agro/Hardware/Feed sales is considered an asset
- 1+ years of supervisory experience is preferred
- You have excellent communication and customer service skills
- You are willing to work all scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- You believe in building relationships, collaborating with others, and valuing diverse perspectives
You are physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel
