Full-Time Level II Dental Assistant - Maternity Leave position

Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, including:
- Extractions
- Endodontics (ENDO)
- Implant restorations
- Orthodontics (brackets & Invisalign)
- Crown & Bridge procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms
- Take digital x-rays (HARP certification required)
- Perform iTero scanning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Monitor dental supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Level II Dental Assistant certification
- Must be NDAEB certified, provide certification
- Valid HARP certification
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with dental software systems; Tracker experience is considered an asset
- Experience with Digital Scanning (iTero) is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
