We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Millwright to join our Weekend Maintenance Crew at our food processing plant. This position offers a competitive wage, full benefits after a short probationary period, and a consistent 40-hour workweek with flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant automation equipment, including but not limited to motors, augers, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the efficient operation of machinery.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Document maintenance activities and report on progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Valid Millwright license.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role, preferably within a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial automation equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours during the week as needed.
Compensation:
- $45/hour
- Full benefits package available after 3 months of employment.
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week.
- Mainly weekend work
- Flexibility to complete the remaining weekly hours from Monday to Friday
