Responsibilities
- Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements for retail displays, events, and custom orders, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and artistic flair
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and accessories, providing expert advice on arrangements and care instructions
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop, including storage areas and display cases
- Manage inventory levels of flowers, foliage, containers, and supplies through effective merchandising and stock replenishment
- Handle sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and receipt processing
- Support landscape maintenance tasks when needed to ensure the overall aesthetic appeal of the store environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service experiences
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in floral design is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales processes
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online orders is advantageous but not required
