Position: Sous Chef
Terms of Employment: Full time. Candidates must be flexible and have the ability to work days, nights, weekends.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting with all food productions while providing critical support.

Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations

Lead and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring top performance and high morale

Assist in menu planning and execution for new and existing concepts

Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness

Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES
- The Sous Chef demonstrates an ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete and of high quality.
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
- A positive “can-do” attitude, inquisitive style and customer focus approach in order to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
REQUIREMENTS
- Culinary trade diploma or Red Seal preferred
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, leadership experience preferred
- Food safety/ nutrition qualification is preferred.
