Phoenix Rehab is hiring a Registered Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner for our multidisciplinary clinic in Burnaby.
Full front-desk support, cross-referrals, private treatment rooms, and flexible scheduling let you focus on patient care.
Pay is $65-$85 per booked treatment hour.
Earnings depend on schedule and caseload and are paid through the clinic's practitioner compensation arrangement.
About Phoenix Rehab
Phoenix Rehab serves patients from Burnaby and Vancouver through acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, and counselling.
Our practitioners coordinate care when collaboration would help the patient, while each regulated professional remains responsible for their own clinical judgment and scope.
What you'll do
- Assess patients and develop individualized acupuncture or TCM care plans within your registered scope.
- Provide acupuncture and, where your training and registration permit, services such as Tui Na, cupping, Gua Sha, or herbal guidance.
- Work with a mix of private-pay, extended-health, and ICBC patients.
- Communicate treatment plans, consent, progress, and follow-up clearly in English.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in English using JaneApp.
- Coordinate with other Phoenix practitioners when a shared-care approach is appropriate.
What you'll bring
- Active practising registration with CCHPBC as an R.Ac., R.TCM.P., R.TCM.H., or Dr.TCM, or eligibility to obtain the appropriate registration within 30 days of starting.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong spoken and written English for patient communication, informed consent, team handoffs, and clinical charting.
- Warm, professional communication and sound clinical judgment.
- Tui Na training or practical Tui Na experience is an asset.
- At least 10 years of TCM clinical experience in a hospital setting in China is an asset.
- Experience with ICBC or multidisciplinary care is an asset.
