Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of our projects.
Operational Execution
- Perform general yard cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Paint and refresh bins, equipment, fence, and yard structures as required
- Carry out basic bin repairs and minor maintenance tasks
- Organize, label, and manage stock and materials within the yard
- Load, unload, and move materials safely
- Dispose of waste and recyclable materials correctly
- Assist with general manual labour tasks as assigned
- Report damaged equipment, hazards, or low stock levels to supervisors
Safety
- Perform all tasks in adherence to safety standards, achieving zero incidents, injuries, property damage, or environmental release.
- Daily safety meetings with Field Employees to ensure fit for duty and understand the safety hazards / risks of the work assigned.
- Maintains valid safety tickets or courses as required by Company policy.
- Safety protocols, Field Level Risk assessments, hazard and incident reporting requirements are adhered to as set out by specific client requirements, company policy and procedure.
Education
- High School or GED equivalent is required.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of laborer experience
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Basic mechanical skills and strong work ethic.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and manual handling.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Requires focus and attention to safety during long or physically demanding shifts.
- Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
