GIP Pyramid Construction Ltd. is looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join our civil construction team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing project details, working with numbers, and collaborating with operations teams to help build accurate, competitive project estimates.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects while building a strong career in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
· Assisting with project estimates and tender submissions
· Reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents
· Performing quantity take-offs and pricing
· Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
· Supporting project managers and senior estimators
· Maintaining organized estimating documentation
· Helping analyze project costs and budgets
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of estimating, construction, or related industry experience
· Civil construction experience considered a strong asset
· Strong analytical and mathematical skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to manage deadlines and priorities
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities
· Experience with estimating software considered an asset
