Job Summary
WSK Well Services is looking for a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Coordinator to own our day-to-day billing cycle — from field ticket to issued invoice. You'll turn completed field work into clean, accurate invoices to our oil and gas customers, keeping our receivables current. This is a focused, part-time role (~20 hours/week) with flexible hours that fit around your life, based out of our Camrose County office. This role would work well for someone with school-aged children who needs to work around bus schedules and homecare.
If you know your way around QuickBooks Online, take pride in tickets that tie out to the penny, and like working independently, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Compile daily field tickets from WSK's field ticketing system and verify them for completeness and accuracy
- Enter and code transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Generate and issue customer invoices to oil and gas operators
- Submit invoices through customer portals (e.g., OpenInvoice, Cortex) where required by the operator
- Reconcile discrepancies between field tickets, work orders, and invoices, and follow up with field and office staff to resolve them
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Maintain organized, retrievable billing records and support month-end close
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience in accounts receivable, billing, or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Solid data-entry speed and comfort working in spreadsheets (Excel)
- Self-directed work style — able to manage your own schedule and hit billing deadlines without close supervision
- Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating with field crews and customers
Nice to Have
- Experience in oilfield, energy, or field services billing
- Familiarity with field ticketing systems and oil and gas invoice portals (OpenInvoice, Cortex, Ariba)
- Understanding of operator-specific invoicing and documentation requirements
