Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen station before and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
- Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
