Promotions Associate
This role is a permanent rolen with the expectation of working days, evenings/and weekends up to 40 hours per week. You must meet these requirements to be considered for this position.
Job description
Summary:
The promotions team associate’s role is to ensure all weekly in-store promotions are labelled, locations full of product and items are located in feature areas for customers.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Helps to execute the weekly deals and ensure that promotional items are placed and priced appropriately in the feature areas.
Ensures that all feature areas are topped up, faced and ready for business before the store closes.
Maintains the feature ends, side panels and platform displays by replenishing as required to maximize sales and profits.
Provides support to cashiers and customer service associates with carryout for customers.
Deals with challenging situations and conflict resolution in a professional manner.
Meet, greet and thank customers and provide friendly, informed service to them
Other Demands
Standing /walking for more than 6 hours
Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise item may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy.”
Ability to work with minimum supervision
