Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity and expertise in a professional and welcoming environment. The Nail Technician will also assist with retail sales and maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
- Provide body waxing services as needed to enhance client satisfaction
- Educate clients on nail care routines and product recommendations
- Upsell retail products to promote client wellness and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in compliance with health regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a relaxing and positive experience for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns
- Assist in retail sales by recommending appropriate products for home use
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sterilized after each use
Experience
- Prior experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role is preferred
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatments and product benefits
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices in the beauty industry
- Ability to perform nail care services with precision and creativity
- Experience in retail sales to effectively promote products and services
