Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Towing & Recovery Operator to join our team. This role involves providing roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and towing services with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical, and the ability to operate specialized equipment . Duties
- Operate tow trucks and recovery equipment to assist stranded or disabled vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform vehicle recovery operations including winching, loading, and securing vehicles for transport
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during roadside assistance calls
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on towing equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with vehicle repairs or diagnostics when necessary, utilizing automotive repair skills
- Safely operate forklifts or other machinery as needed for loading or unloading vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and work under varying weather conditions and time constraints
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive repair preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Experience operating tow trucks, forklifts, or similar heavy machinery preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively under stressful situations
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to vehicle recovery and roadside assistance
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in towing, recovery, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates

Pay: $58,068.39-$107,227.09 per year
