McCarthy’s Roofing is a trusted name in commercial and residential roofing, known for quality workmanship, safety, and service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our accounting team.
Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team. This is primarily a hands-on role involving equipment maintenance and repair, with some warehouse responsibilities as required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with keeping equipment operational
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and work areas
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
- Assist with general shop and warehouse duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience maintaining, repairing, or operating equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting materials when required
- Valid driver's license is an asset in addition to a clean driver abstract is required to be shown before hire is finalized
Preferred Skills
- Roofing industry experience would be considered a strong asset with a mechanical inclination
- Experience within a warehouse environement, completing inventory counts, or material handling would be an added benefit
Working Conditions
- Warehouse and Construction site environments
- Communication with Project Managers, Project Services and Crews
- Occasional site visits involving roof access and outdoor work conditions
- Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
