Our global manufacturing client is seeking a commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst to partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, providing financial insights that drive strategic business decisions.
This highly visible role will support a growing business unit by delivering meaningful analysis of financial performance, gross margins, pricing, product costing, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support business performance.
- Analyze and report on divisional financial results, with a strong focus on P&L performance, gross margins, profitability, and manufacturing costs.
- Evaluate product, customer, and channel profitability while identifying opportunities to improve margins.
- Support pricing decisions, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning through financial analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with Operations to analyze production costs, inventory, yields, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor financial and operational KPIs.
- Evaluate ROI for promotions, capital investments, and new product initiatives.
- Present financial insights and recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA preferred or in progress).
- 5-7 years of progressive finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Food manufacturing experience required.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements, gross margin analysis, product costing, manufacturing variances, and profitability analysis.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, pricing, inventory, and standard costing.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong communication and business partnering abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
