Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by following hygiene protocols and cleaning equipment after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
- Manage scheduling appointments and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- Knowledge of various grooming techniques and tools is a plus.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and safety.
