Requirements
- Licensed Optician in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
- Minimum 1 year of retail or optical management experience (or 3+ years as a Licensed Optician)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and coach others
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to educate patients on lens options and address concerns; experience with premium lens brands is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage store operations
- Passion for optics, eyewear, technology, and luxury products
- English speaking required, Chinese speaking (Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily store operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer experience
- Support, train, and develop team members to achieve performance goals
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs
- Perform and oversee eyeglass adjustments, repairs, contact lens fittings, and precise measurements
- Ensure all clinical and optical procedures meet professional standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming, professional environment
- Manage scheduling, inventory control, and administrative duties (emails, phone calls, communication platforms, etc.)
- Achieve store sales targets and support client-building initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain operational excellence and uphold company standards
