We are seeking a skilled Powersports / Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Engine technology and possess mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance and repairs on marine and Powersports vessels.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance on marine engines, electrical systems, and other components
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on boats and marine equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain marine propulsion systems
- Perform inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Keep accurate records of services provided and parts used
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair marine equipment
- may suit an auto-technician as skills easily cross over
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced marine environment
