Job Description:
The successful candidate's primary role will be light assembly of couplings, fittings and gasket cutting and the secondary role will be Shipping/Receiving Support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carries out simple assembly projects.
- Assist or replace Head Shipper, when absent, with the following duties:
- Preparing all packages and palettes for shipments.
- Scheduling transport pick ups.
- Verifying products being shipped with the packing slips.
- Receiving and organizing all incoming materials / products.
- Ensuring the production floor and warehouse are free and clear of all items to ensure a proper working environment and space.
- Organizing the shop when time allows.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.
- Light-duty general labour work in other departments if there is a period of downtime in the Couplings Department and Shipping/Receiving.
- The candidate may be required to work in other positions as production demands justify it. When production requirements warrant it, overtime will be made available on a volunteer basis.
Your Skill Set:
- Detailed oriented as quality and accuracy standards must be met.
- Must have forklift experience and possess current certification which will be renewed at the company’s expense.
- Overhead crane experience an asset - we can certify if need be.
- First Aid certification is required for this role; the company will provide and cover the cost of training, with an additional $1.00 per hour added to the employee’s wage upon successful certification.

- 1-3 years previous work related experience in Shipping/Receiving.

- Une certification en secourisme est requise pour ce poste ; l'entreprise assurera et prendra en charge les frais de formation, et un supplément de 1,00 $ par heure sera ajouté au salaire de l'employé après l'obtention de la certification.
