AdVerse is a multi-million dollar marketing + production engine for premium hospitality and emerging high-attribution brands across Montreal, Toronto, and select expansion markets. We run a pod-based model — 5-person production teams each serving 10 client brands at flagship-level quality. We just refreshed our model with a new pricing structure, ICP-selective sales, and pod hiring across all 5 roles. We are rebuilding the pod with new standards — this is the moment to plug in during the upgrade.
About the Role
You own the creative thinking for each brand in the pod. Every month, you write the Content Overview — the 10-step strategic document that defines campaign type, video formats (TOF/MOF/BOF), and the 2 fundamental impact points behind every piece. You translate brand strategy into shoot direction and post specs. If the CO is sloppy, everything downstream breaks. You are the substrate.
Key Responsibilities
- Author monthly Content Overviews for 2-3 assigned brands using our CO Template v2 + SOP process
- Classify campaign type (Awareness vs Acquisition) + assign TOF/MOF/BOF roles per piece
- Articulate 2 impact points per reel — the fundamental "why this works" for each video
- Brief the editor + video director with clarity — zero ambiguity in handoff
- Senior gate prep — ship CO as PDF v1 to our production OS for Senior approval by Friday EOD weekly
- Brand research + voice consistency — maintain each brand voice across campaigns
Requirements
- 3+ years creative strategy or content strategy at an agency (or strong portfolio of brand work)
- Demonstrable understanding of TOF/MOF/BOF marketing funnel structure
- Ability to translate brand strategy into actionable shoot + post specs
- Reads inspo videos critically — can articulate WHY a reel works (not vibes)
- Strong writing — FR/EN bilingual preferred
- Operator mindset — ships Friday deadlines without escalation
The Path: Freelance → Part-Time → Full-Time
We don’t pretend to know if you are a fit on Day 1 — we earn into it together. Stage 1: 1-2 weeks paid freelance trial in our currently-running pod. Stage 2: part-time retainer when the trial lands. Stage 3: full-time conversion with comp scaling based on experience + brand retention performance.
