Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Pallet Builder and Repair Specialist! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining sturdy pallets that support our logistics and shipping operations. Your expertise in woodworking, mechanical knowledge, and use of power and hand tools will ensure pallets meet safety standards and quality expectations. Responsibilities
- Assemble new pallets using woodworking skills, power tools, hand tools, and CNC machinery to ensure durability and compliance with specifications
- Repair damaged or worn pallets by replacing broken components, reinforcing structures, and restoring integrity
- Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, finished pallets, and repair parts within the warehouse or manufacturing area
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure precise assembly standards
- Conduct routine inspections of pallets for safety hazards or defects, performing heavy lifting as needed during repairs or assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow processes for pallet production and repair efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or construction environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is preferred
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, machining processes, or heavy-duty power tools is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly techniques, and the use of hand tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Warehouse experience that includes heavy lifting, material handling, or logistics support is advantageous
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining safety standards
