We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Labourer to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up necessary materials and tools
- Carry out site cleanup activities as directed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
- Help with the installation of structures, framing, or other building components
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential home building or the construction industry.
- Hands-on experience in one or more trades such as framing, carpentry, concrete, finishing, or general construction.
- Ability to perform basic framing and carpentry tasks independently.
- Experience operating a Bobcat (skid steer) or similar construction equipment is considered a strong asset.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation to various job sites.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
