Position Title: Events Coordinator

Employment Type: Part-Time- Full Time (Weekends and Select Holidays)
Job Purpose
The Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a wide variety of events hosted at Cobble Beach Golf Links. This role serves as the primary on-site contact during weekends, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless event operations. Events include weddings, golf tournaments, corporate functions, member events, social gatherings, and SMERF group events. The role is seasonal, running from June through October, with flexibility to conclude earlier based on the successful candidate's availability and schedule.
Duties and responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site coordinator for weekend events, ensuring all event details are executed according to client expectations and resort standards.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Serve as the on-site event lead for weddings, Concours events, major tournaments, and functions.
- Troubleshoot event issues in real time and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food and beverage execution during events based on business demands.
- Ensure adherence to house policies, event standards, setup requirements, and closing procedures.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, guests, and event hosts during events.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and resort members.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering memorable and high-quality event experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, banquet operations, or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software is an asset.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs (11 kg) occasionally.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
