We are seeking a high-energy Generator Field Service Technician to lead our front-line efforts in ensuring critical power reliability for our diverse client base.

The Role: Technical Excellence in the Field
You will be responsible for the onsite maintenance, repair, and sophisticated diagnosis of a wide variety of generators from leading manufacturers. Reporting directly to our Director of Operations, you will be the face of our service excellence.
Responsibilities at a Glance
This role combines technical mastery with high-stakes problem-solving. Key responsibilities include:
- Precision Maintenance: Performing routine preventative maintenance, operational readiness, and load bank testing on diesel, natural gas, propane, and bi-fuel units.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues both on-site and via telephone support.
- Emergency Response: Participating in our 24/7, 365-day emergency response rotation to keep mission-critical systems online.
- Documentation: Completing professional service reports, repair recommendations, and load test sheets within 48 hours of job completion.
- Compliance & Safety: Demonstrating a proven understanding of CSA C282 for Life Safety Generators and adhering to all safety policies.
- Operational Support: Assisting with repair quotes, inventory management, and "in-shop" duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Technician, Mechanic or Apprentice
- Diesel Technician or Mechanic
- Electrical Certification, Technician or Apprentice
- Strong progression in troubleshooting and diagnosing generator systems.
- Superior customer service skills to enhance working relationships.
- Ability to pass criminal background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and provide a clean driver’s abstract.
- Flexibility to work varying and irregular hours to meet client needs.
