We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Pharmacy Manager to lead our Ossington & Dupont location in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, team leadership, and growing a modern community pharmacy.
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring outstanding patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team development. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing pharmacy while expanding professional pharmacy services and strengthening relationships with local physicians and the surrounding community.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Lead, coach, and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants.
- Build a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused workplace culture.
- Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and inventory management.
Clinical Excellence
- Deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care and medication counselling.
- Conduct medication reviews and comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer vaccinations and injectable medications.
- Expand professional pharmacy services, including chronic disease management, smoking cessation, travel health, and preventative care initiatives.
Business Performance
- Manage pharmacy financial performance, labour costs, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Drive prescription growth, patient retention, and professional services revenue.
- Build relationships with local physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support business growth.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) standards and all applicable legislation.
- Maintain quality assurance, medication safety, and pharmacy accreditation standards.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and documentation are followed consistently.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Assistant Pharmacy Manager preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Experience managing pharmacy operations, financial performance, and inventory.
- Certified to administer injections and immunizations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and growing clinical pharmacy services.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000 annually
- Professional Services Incentive: 30% profit sharing on eligible professional services
