NOW HIRING PERMANENT CLASS 1 DRIVERS
WE ARE LOCATED IN BETWEEN ANOLA & BEAUSEJOUR, MB
Qualifications:
- Valid Manitoba Class 1A Driver’s License.
- Prior experience in gravel industry is preferred.
Duties & Responsibility:
- Operate semi-trucks with end-dump/ belly-dump trailers to transport sand and gravel
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle
- Clearly communicate potential and necessary repairs
- Pre-plan trip route and obtain delivery slips needed to transport goods
- Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements
- Safely and efficiently transport and unload cargo
- Report and record load information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel expenditure
- Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers by means of wireless devices and on-board CB radio
- Follow all appropriate traffic laws
- Keep truck and associated equipment tidy and in good working order
