We are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Stanley Self Storage. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer experiences while driving sales through effective communication and support. Your contributions will directly impact our client relationships and overall business success.
Responsibilities
- Drive rentals and meet sales goals by promoting Stanley Self Storage’s products and services to walk-in, phone, and online inquiries.
- cleaning and inspecting storage units during move-outs and move-ins as needed
- daily site inspection including perimeter checks, hall way checks and office checks
- daily report to management (email)
- IT ability
- Confidently close sales by understanding customer needs and recommending tailored storage solutions.
- Follow up proactively with all sales leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience with every interaction, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment in line with company standards.
- Monitor on-site activity to support customer safety and security during business hours.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including light administrative tasks and occasional support for sister companies.
- Schedule will be a 2 days a week including every other Saturday. Most weeks will be 16 hours unless covering other employees for vacation/sick days.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years sales experience (self-storage industry a plus).
- Strong closing skills and a natural ability to connect with people and sell with confidence.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, friendly, and persuasive.
- Self-starter with a goal-driven mindset and a passion for delivering results.
- Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and professional in all interactions.
- Reliable, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
