Job Summary
We are seeking a machine operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce precision components. This position would require you to read and interpret blueprints. We are seeking someone with mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality production standards. The machine operator will work with various equipment including CNC machines, lathes, press brake machines, contributing to efficient manufacturing processes and quality control.
Duties
- Operate machinery such as punch presses and brake presses
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce accurate parts
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for precision inspection and quality control of machined parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols related to machining operations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to machining tasks.
