Full Job Description
We are seeking a licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team based in Delta, BC. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a fleet of piston aircraft used in aerial survey operations across Western Canada.
The successful candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations, and help maintain a safe and efficient maintenance environment. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required during peak operational periods.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft and aeronautical products in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company maintenance procedures.
Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Mentor and supervise apprentice AMEs, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hangar and work environment.
Utilize maintenance manuals, technical publications, and other resources when performing maintenance tasks.
Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Support aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations when required.
Qualifications
Valid Transport Canada M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence.
Experience maintaining King Air, PA-31 Navajo, and single-engine Cessna aircraft is considered an asset.
Good working knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of professionalism with a strong commitment to safety.
Must provide basic hand tools (specialty tools supplied).
