Sam On Site Inc. is looking for a dependable and motivated Property Maintenance Cleaner to help maintain commercial properties throughout the Edmonton area.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping properties clean, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
The majority of the work is performed outdoors and includes general property maintenance rather than traditional indoor janitorial cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Empty exterior garbage and recycling bins
- Pick up litter throughout parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and around buildings
- Sweep dirt, sand, leaves, and debris from sidewalks, curb lines, and corners
- Remove weeds from sidewalks, curbs, cracks, rock beds, and landscaped areas
- Report graffiti, vandalism, damaged property, or safety concerns
- Take before and after photos of completed work using a mobile phone
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company
- Perform additional light property maintenance duties as assigned
- During the winter season, assist with light snow clearing and salting as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically capable of walking for extended periods, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks
- Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
- Previous cleaning, landscaping, or property maintenance experience is considered an asset but is not required
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle to travel between job sites
- Smartphone capable of taking photos and using company apps
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
