Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Log Hauler to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport logs. Your expertise in truck driving and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers, including Super B, Hayrack and other specialized vehicles to transport
- Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records throughout each shift
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members
- Ensure cargo is secured properly for transport
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., flatbed, tanker)
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to load securement, vehicle inspection, and transportation regulations
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and team members
- Physical ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and handle heavy loads when necessary

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour
