Forco Equipment Mechanical Services is a Heavy-Duty repair shop. We are a Palfinger Service Center under FRF Hydraulics.
We have grown considerably over the last year and we are looking for a Journeyman Technician who is looking to fill our Shop Foreman role and has or is willing to get their CVIP License. You will need to go for training at FRF Hydraulics in Ontario 3-5 days pending.
At Forco Equipment Mechanical Services our priority is our customer service. We service any equipment that our customers bring through the door. We service and repair off-road equipment, heavy and light duty trucks, hydroseeders, generators, compressors, scissor lifts, crane maintenance / installs, hydraulic work and more. From full engine rebuilds to fluids services and everything in between. We also do some custom performance truck builds.
We have a great team with an easy-going attitude in our shop.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and run the shop floor
- Quality control on repairs leaving the shop
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs needed
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Request parts needed to repair and maintain equipment through Fullbay
- Service equipment attachments and working tools
- Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area and assist with general cleaning duties in a workshop environment
- Maintain daily record of all work tasks and materials
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience and considerable knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair
- Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures
- A motivated and punctual self-starter
- A proven track record collaborating on a team
- Demonstrates a history of improving operations, decreasing turnaround times, and streamlining work processes
- Must be professional dealing with customers when they have questions about the required repairs on their equipment
- Competent in the operation of variety of tools and equipment such as cutting torches, welders, and phonematic tools
- Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Technician ticket
- Experience in hydraulic and electrical is an advantage
- Own set of tools
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Drivers License
