The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. ABOUT
Based in North Vancouver, St. Pius X Elementary School is a Catholic community dedicated to developing reverence, respect and responsibility within each child, using Christ as our centre. It is our goal to assist each child in their intellectual, physical, social, artistic and emotional growth while developing Christian leaders, responsible citizens and lifelong learners through academic standards, extensive extra-curricular programs, and a vibrant faith-based community.
JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Pius X Elementary School is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant from appx. April 27th to June 30th, with potential for the position to be extended for the following year.
The successful candidate must be committed to students’ faith development, enjoys working with children, has experience working with students of diverse needs, takes initiative, has excellent communication skills, and can contribute to a collaborative team approach.
Please note: Familiarity with education-based technology is necessary (See Saw, for instance)
