Project Description
Total Systems Guyana Inc. (TSG) is seeking a suitably qualified Stim Supervisor for a field-based assignment in Guyana. This is a fixed-term six-month contract role aligned to stimulation operations in offshore and related rig-based environments.
The successful candidate will be expected to plan jobs, prepare resources, and lead frontline crew during stimulation operations while maintaining strong control over safety, service quality, operational readiness, crew coordination, and equipment performance.
This role requires prior offshore experience in environments where skids and pumps are rigged up on vessel rigs, strong English communication skills, and demonstrated familiarity with stimulation-job planning, execution control, and supervisory field leadership.
Services Required
- · Lead frontline personnel during stimulation operations, including pre-job preparation, onsite execution, and operational closeout.
- · Plan jobs, prepare resources, and execute stimulation work in accordance with approved job design, operational procedures, and site requirements.
- · Ensure crew, equipment, pumps, skids, and associated support resources are prepared, checked, and ready for service before and during execution.
- · Maintain compliance with internal safety, quality, and HSE standards, as well as applicable site, vessel, and regulatory requirements.
- · Identify and respond to operational issues during execution, coordinate corrective actions, and support continuous safe delivery of services.
- · Maintain clear operational records and communicate job status, equipment condition, crew readiness, safety observations, and service issues to the appropriate operational stakeholders.
Duties Include
- · Plan, organize, and supervise stimulation operations in accordance with job design, work instructions, and site requirements.
- · Lead pre-job review, job preparation, crew briefing, and operational readiness checks before mobilization and execution.
- · Ensure the correct rig up, function testing, operation, monitoring, and rig down of stimulation equipment and associated support equipment.
- · Supervise the use of skids, pumps, and related stimulation spread equipment, where applicable to assignment requirements.
- · Coordinate with rig or vessel personnel and other service lines to support safe, efficient, and well-controlled operations.
- · Ensure all required inspections, readiness checks, and functional verifications are completed and documented before and during operations.
- · Monitor operational execution to ensure there are no safety or service quality issues during days of service.
- · Support the identification, reporting, and resolution of equipment, personnel, process, or HSE concerns during the job.
- · Enforce stop-work expectations, hazard awareness, fit-for-work requirements, and incident reporting obligations in accordance with company HSE expectations and site requirements.
- · Maintain accurate operational records, handover notes, service documentation, and job-related reports as required by the assignment.
- · Support replacement planning, continuity handover, and orderly closeout of the assignment where required.
Constraints and Special Considerations
- · This is a six-month fixed-term contract aligned to the current manpower forecast for the role.
- · The role is intended for offshore operations and requires prior offshore experience, including work environments where skids and pumps are rigged up on vessel rigs.
- · The assignment may involve rig-based work in offshore and onshore operating environments depending on project needs.
- · Candidate must be able to mobilize to Guyana and work in a structured, safety-critical, client-facing oilfield environment.
- · Candidate must be willing to work under rotational or operational schedules based on vessel, rig, and field requirements.
- · Candidate must be comfortable working within a controlled manpower framework where technical approval, deployment suitability, and operational supervision remain with the end operator.
Experience and Qualifications
- · Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the Stim Supervisor role or in a closely comparable stimulation supervisory position.
- · Demonstrated experience in offshore operations, including work where skids and pumps are rigged up on vessel rigs.
- · Strong operational knowledge of job planning, resource preparation, stimulation execution, crew supervision, and service delivery control for acid and non-acid jobs.
- · Experience leading stimulation operations involving pumps, skids, and related offshore service equipment in rig-based environments.
- · Completion of Stim Supervisor competencies, or an equivalent level of competence gained through prior industry experience.
- · Valid IADC well control certification.
- · Valid OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certification.
- · Proficiency in English.
- · Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills in high-risk operational environments.
- · Valid passport and ability to travel, mobilize offshore, and satisfy deployment readiness requirements for the duration of the contract.

Pay: Up to $65.00 per hour
