Vipond | Fire-Tech is one of the largest third-party suppliers of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Suppression, and other life safety systems in Newfoundland and Labrador
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Apply payments and reconcile accounts
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
Collections:
- Contact customers regarding overdue accounts (phone and email)
- Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts
- Work with customers to arrange payment plans when necessary
- Escalate accounts as appropriate
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
- Assist with month-end procedures
- Support general office administration as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with AR, AP, and collections required High school diploma
- Post-secondary education Business Administration, Office administration or related field would be ideal
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
