Job Title: District Manager – Field Sales & Merchandising

This role is responsible for delivering service excellence within their own assigned stores while also supervising a field team, providing mentorship and support to ensure client and team key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.

- Execute client strategy/strategies

Supervise a field team

Recruit team members – conduct interviews, extend job offers, and complete employment contracts for the team

Deliver training – conduct in-field coaching days (60% of the team trained each month), organize regular team meetings, and ensure effective communication with representatives

Conduct weekly business reviews with the Regional Manager

Manage the team's day-to-day logistics

Handle reporting, communications, goal setting, coaching, team motivation, and performance evaluations

Build strong relationships with clients, team members, and the Regional Manager

Become an expert in the client's products, strategy, and market

Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization

Be accountable for quality coaching and team retention

Approve ADP timesheets for the team on a bi-weekly basis

Achieve coverage and execution targets agreed upon with the client(s)

Coordinate, develop, and deliver onboarding training for new representatives (30/60/90-day plan) to ensure consistent high-quality field execution

Participate in special programs or tasks as required

Minimize or eliminate vacant positions through ongoing recruitment efforts to ensure uninterrupted client coverage

Serve as the reliable point of contact for all field representatives regarding project-related questions or concerns
- Sales experience, particularly in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with exposure to major clients

Experience supervising sales and/or merchandising teams

Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook and Word

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Self-motivated and passionate, with strategic thinking, creativity, and a strong interest in coaching and supporting others

Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand key business drivers
