Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and promoting optimal oral health. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
- Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment areas in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Stay current with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in dental assisting or customer service is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards.
Pay: $38.32-$50.00 per hour
