Purpose:
The Toronto and GTA East Territory Manager has a growth and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and effectively manage business opportunities from strong client/customer relationships within the alternate care markets (i.e. LTC, EMS, private clinics, veterinary services, corporate, etc).

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, manage, and capitalize on revenue and service opportunities in alternate care markets in assigned Territory
- Compliance, adherence to, and understanding of CRM system through effective opportunity management, call activities, and forecasting
- Successfully manage daily call schedule and customer interactions through scheduled visits, prospecting, quality checks, audits, and follow-up
- Achieve annual sales targets set by Manager and align with corporate objectives
- Establish and manage relationships with key decision makers and accelerate opportunities where possible
- Develop and execute Annual Territory Plan with goals and objectives that are aligned with Corporate and business strategies
- Focus on customer service and assess customer needs to find effective solutions for customers, clinicians, and/or clients/patients
- Effectively leverage Sales Support resources and relevant company staff to address customer needs and identify leads and referrals wherever possible
- Maintain deep expertise of all products, launch new products, and deliver in-services wherever required
- Perform all administrative tasks as required for compliance including mileage reports, LMS training, and expenses
- Communicate and share new product and service opportunities, special developments, understand and share knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Coordinate and implement special sales opportunities to reduce dead stock
- Prepare estimates and quotes as needed to support opportunity management and revenue generation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years Sales experience is required
- Business development and territory management experience
- Full driver’s license in the province of practice and clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with computer systems including MS office suite and Sales Force is a definite asset
- Completion of a college program or vocational certificate
- Previous Healthcare industry knowledge & government reimbursement program knowledge is an asset
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Toronto and GTA East
- Ability to travel within the GTA within the boundaries of Brampton to Belleville between Steeles and St. Clair Avenue
SKILLS:
- Demonstrates accountability, is results-oriented and able to leverage and engage leadership
- High bias for action, committed, and passionate about providing solutions
- Strategic account development and territory planning expertise
- Knowledge of therapeutic areas of incontinence, wound care, falls management, and pharma is an asset
- Selling of equipment is an asset
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and customer relationships
- Able to formulate, prioritize and execute to achieve desired sales results
- Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, electronic and verbal communication skills
