Job Role: Assistant Store Manager
Location of work: North Vancouver
Travel Required: Not unless specified
- Travel will consist of going to HQ for manager meetings on an as-needed basis.
Reports to: General Manager/Store manager
Manages: Smoothie Bar Staff & Health Educators at North Vancouver location
About the role:
As a Assistant Store Manager, your main focus is to provide guests with a captivating experience, provide them with products that better their life, and ensure you are leading a driven team of individuals who provide a high level of service. It is vital to prioritize the guest experience by creating an atmosphere of engagement, knowledge, and community. You are required to ensure that all aspects of the store’s appearance are in line with our store standard and that all employees are executing on day-to-day operations and following company policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive workplace atmosphere that welcomes all employees and clients equally.

Building a culture that is people-focused and customer-driven.

Monitor performance expectations to ensure objectives are met.

Ensure all staff are following store procedures.

Implementing operational and service procedures and processes passed to you by the GM/ Store manager.

Troubleshooting problems and working with team members to develop solutions that produce results, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Leading training and performance management strategies to build and sustain a high-performing team based off of feedback, coaching & audit processes.

Ability to solve customer issues in a professional manner.

Having a good working knowledge of vitamins and supplements.

Making sure all staff are keeping the store clean and presentable, helping with this, and receiving inventory when applicable.

Support all staff whenever necessary (rushes, particular customers etc)

Discipline staff when necessary and ensure that they have the continued support to succeed.

Provide regular, timely, and constructive feedback to address performance proactive manner based on SM feedback.
