Job Title: DZ Driver
Salary: $21.00
Position Type: Fulltime
Hours: 10 to 14 hours per day
Reports to: Operations Manager
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport various aggregates, soils and mulches
- Perform daily pre-trip, en route and post trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Communicate with dispatcher, other driver and customers in a professional manner
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage,
Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum 3 years of driving experience
· Valid DZ license
· Clean drivers' abstract
· Ability to complete deliveries on time and follow instruction
· Knowledge of all required paperwork - daily inspection sheets, order forms, etc.
· Excellent customer service skills along with strong problem solving skills
· Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles used - both inside and outside
· Knowledge of disposables/aggregates, soils and mulches is an asset
