Job Posting: Purchasing Administrator

TRE Designs Ltd. is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to support procurement and purchasing operations for high-rise residential, custom home, and interior projects. This role will work closely with the Procurement Specialists and Project Coordinators to assist with purchasing, material coordination, quantity take-offs, and project support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of reviewing drawings and coordinating with multiple departments in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Procurement Specialists and Project Coordinators with purchasing and procurement activities
- Assist with sourcing, vendor communication, and purchase order coordination
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and interior drawings
- Review and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
- Coordinate with internal teams including procurement, warehouse, site, and design teams
- Track material deliveries, schedules, and procurement status
- Maintain procurement logs, documentation, and cost tracking records
- Support estimation and budgeting tasks as required
- Assist with organizing project documentation and submittals
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings
- Experience with quantity take-offs
- Proficient in:
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bluebeam
- Fieldwire
- Procore
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Assets
- Experience in construction purchasing or procurement
- Experience with high-rise residential or interior projects
- Familiarity with construction materials and systems
- Experience in estimation
- AutoCAD experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $43,000.00 per year
