Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Aesthetician Instructor to join our educational team. This role involves delivering comprehensive training to aspiring aestheticians, sharing industry expertise, and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aesthetics, excellent teaching skills, and classroom experience. As an Aesthetician Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of skincare professionals and ensuring they acquire the practical skills necessary for success in the field.
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging classroom lessons on skincare techniques, treatments, and industry standards.
- Provide hands-on training to students, demonstrating proper procedures for facials, waxing, and other aesthetic services.
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain a safe and professional learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and best practices to ensure curriculum relevance.
- Assist students with practical exams and certification preparations.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to schedule classes and coordinate training sessions.
- Support students’ professional development by offering mentorship and guidance throughout their training.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as an Aesthetician or Skincare Specialist.
- Prior teaching experience in vocational college in Montreal
- Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students.
- Ability to create a positive, motivating learning environment that fosters student success.
- Passion for education and professional development within the aesthetics field.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
