About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Montreal. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Month end financial Statement

Perform Journal Entries

Prepare tax remittances (GST/QST, DAS, CNESST, etc.)

Prepare Payroll & Balance Sheet Reconciliation

Analyze financial statements, budgets and forecasts.

Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgeted targets.

Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators.

Conduct profitability, cost, and operational performance analyses.

Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management.

Work closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes

Ensure compliance with provincial and federal financial regulations

Participate in year-end audit preparation and support external auditors as needed
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field

3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in an accounting and analyst role

Proficiency with accounting ERP and software (e.g., NetSuite, Business Central, QuickBooks) and reporting tools

Very Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

Familiarity with Quebec and Canadian tax regulations

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in French and English
