Job Description: Landscape Team Members
OGS is looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to add to our growing team. We are hiring for a variety of positions including lawn maintenance and construction team.
Responsibilities:
- You will work with a team to complete the work
- Carry out required tasks assigned by crew leaders or management
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, cut off saws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, mowers, trimmers, blowers etc.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications to delegate/complete work activities
- Arrive to required jobsite or at OGS yard on time and ready for the day
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Complete all work activities in a safe and efficient manner, and be compliant with government and company PPE standards
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations on jobsites
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- During Winter Months you will be required to clear snow with a shovel and apply salt to walkways.
Job Requirements:
- Must work well with assigned crew and complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Quality of Construction and Maintenance must be meet OGS Landscape standards
- Complete all required “New Hire” Training before starting with OGS
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
