A long-standing heavy haul and specialized transportation company is seeking a Truck and Transport Mechanic to join their team in Stony Mountain, MB. This is primarily a shop-based position with occasional field service work, maintaining a modern fleet of late-model tractors and specialized trailers. Requirements
Must-haves:
5+ years of experience repairing heavy-duty trucks
Valid Truck and Transport Mechanic Certification (310T / Red Seal or equivalent)
Experience working on electronically controlled diesel engines
Ability to perform routine maintenance, annual inspections, engine and transmission repairs
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Own a standard set of hand and power tools for transport maintenance
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
Nice-to-haves:
Experience working on specialized heavy haul equipment and trailers
Familiarity with Cummins, PACCAR, Allison, Meritor, Bendix, and WABCO systems
Experience using diagnostic software such as Cummins INSITE and PACCAR diagnostics
Ability to perform field service repairs as required
Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $40$45/hour (based on experience and skills)
Overtime: Paid in accordance with the Canada Labour Code

Hours
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM5:00 PM, or as required
Work Environment: Heated, well-lit shop with one pull-through bay and two truck bays
Field Work: Occasional field service work as required
On-Call: Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
